Original films based on timeless Biblical scripture designed to inspire, engage and offer relatable context – in less than five minutes.

Jesus knew the power of storytelling.

He knew it was both divine and human – a natural way to connect spiritual Truth to the human experience.

InLighten Films brings His power of storytelling into today’s world with theatre-quality films made by award-winning filmmakers from around the globe.

Every film comes with scripture, discussion questions and often bonus extras.

Praise for InLighten Films

Dr. Amy-Jill Levine

People have been making films about the Bible since people have been making films. You can put the Bible in a modern context.

Dr. Thomas Long

These films are perfectly matched to the lectionary and ready-made for that sort of benefit to a congregation.

Larry Lyon

Churches need to wake up to the reality that younger generations now learn in different ways. If you want their attention, you better be good, or at least effective. The fact is, I am an advocate for InLighten Films … these films are incredibly well-done: well-acted, well-photographed, well-written, well-directed, and yes, I think they are theologically sound. I even think they are theologically profound.

Dr. William Willimon

These stories become ways that open up realities that might be otherwise inaccessible to us.

Dr. William Willimon
Professor at Duke Divinity School, Bishop of the United Methodist Church

Jim Suddath

The InLighten Films series is enhancing the teaching content of my Biblical Ethics classes at the McCallie School. These films display a variety of morals, virtues, and ethics that are extremely important to the fabric of our society. These films are crafted shorts with the ability to connect across our international student body and teach timeless lessons.

In both our current pandemic days and in our post-pandemic future, congregations will find the Inlighten Films to be a life-giving resource for youth gatherings, Sunday School classes, and devotional moments to share online and when we can gather in church buildings again.

Meet Our Founder

Always the ‘pastor’s kid’ who experienced both conformity and mischief along the way to finding his own personal faith, Scott Galloway was also always a storyteller at heart.

Today, Scott works as a writer and director of feature and short films. Over his 30-year career, he has directed and produced award-winning movies, more than 800 television shows, and created an international film festival that celebrates film shorts.

As Founder of InLighten Films, Scott brings his faith journey together with his film career to introduce Bible-based short films into the worship experience to support learning, connection, and conversation in churches, communities and families.
